Luke received a scholarship to train at The Oxford School of Drama. His professional stage debut was at The Royal Court in prison drama ‘The Barred’, and he has been nominated twice for ‘Best Performance of the Year’ in the Royal Television Society Awards for ‘Remora’ (Creative England film, 2017) and ‘Rise’ (playing the father of tennis player Fred Perry, 2018).
Luke plays the lead in short film ‘Puddles’, selected by the Palm Springs Encounters Festival, and is a regular participant of ‘Monologue Slam’ UK, reaching national finals in 2015, 2016 and 2018. Additional highlights include playing Richard in ‘Richard III’ and Domas in ‘Yoke Farm’, winner of the Unchosen Film Festival selected by Ken Loach and Justin Chadwick. For ITI, Luke’s Basil Faulty continues to win acclaim around the world.
